What is ABA Therapy?

ABA therapy stands for Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. It is a type of therapy that is based on the principles of behaviorism, which is a psychological theory that emphasizes the study of observable behavior. ABA therapy is used to help individuals with autism and other developmental disorders learn new skills, improve their communication abilities, and reduce problem behaviors. The therapy uses a variety of techniques, such as positive reinforcement, to teach new behaviors and skills, and to help individuals make meaningful progress in their daily lives.
